Deer
Around a bend in the path, a doe and her offspring nibble on some branches, their tranquility briefly disrupted by my arrival. For a moment, we remain locked in a silent exchange, each observing the other in mutual curiosity. Then, with light and elegant steps, they resume their stroll, the doe casting a final glance as if acknowledging my respectful distance. Back in my studio, the memory of their graceful movements and expressive eyes guides my hand, fluid lines forming on the canvas. Through mixed media and contrasting colors, I bring to life compositions that capture the fleeting magic of that late afternoon encounter.
